I fell in love with yoga in 2007 when I took my first Bikram class with one of my cousins. Since that day 6 years ago, I have been practicing yoga – evolving, growing & going with the flow. I am aware of my breath, and feel more alive and connected to my true spirit. My practice in Vinyasa, Power, Hatha, Restorative, Meditation & Bikram adds to the richness & many facets of my teaching.
Inspired by my own personal discovery & the desire to share my passion with others, I pursued my 200-hour teacher certification at Yoga Source, Los Gatos under the guidance of Linda Schlamadinger-McGrath in August 2009. I have studied and worked with Rebecca Bara, Daniella Cotreau, and Garry Kissiah. I have also attended workshops taught by Kathryn Budig, Seane Corn, Brian Kest & Shiva Rea.
My Power & Vinyasa classes are flowing, energetic & dynamic; balancing strength & elegance. I focus on breath – recognizing and connecting to it, and allowing the breath to guide the flow through the asana practice. I also have a love for music, which reveals itself in my playlists, that are integrated into the movement & pace of the class.
Recently, I completed a 45-hour Pre/Post-Natal Training with Jane Austin of Mama Tree at Yoga Tree, San Francisco. As a Pre-Natal Yoga instructor, I hope to create a space for mamas to simply be. I also encourage a healthy well-being through increasing strength, body awareness, relaxation, compassion & love.
Off my mat, I love finding new adventures, traveling, sharing a bottle of wine with good company, and expanding my musical horizons & yoga playlists. I also treasure spending time with my husband & family, especially my two younger sisters.

No, I’m actually not in the area…I was in Sacramento, but just moved down by San Luis Obispo. I do like hiking though, and have done yoga. I find it to be a really great way to stay in shape and stretch and just breathe and take time out.
Stay yogatastical!
